Ebook About And busting out of Chattahoochee State Hospital ... without his meds! The thrill-killing Floridaphile needs to get to the bottom of his bookie grandad's bizarre 1964 death -- not to mention launch "Serge & Lenny's Florida Experience," the new Miami specialty tour venture he's cooked up with his best brain-dead druggie-buddy. It's all good. For Serge A. Storms, anyway. Not so much for anyone else.Book Cadillac Beach: A Novel (Serge Storms series Book 6) Review :
Unlike good clean fun, Serge and Lenny escapades are crazy stupid fun. The crazy part being Serge’s responsibility, the stupid up to his dope-smoking sidekick Lenny. But Serge’s crazy sometimes morphs into inspirational brilliance. In this episode, the FBI, the CIA, and the Mob are trying to figure out what Serge and Lenny are up to. Plus Serge is feeding information and misinformation to them through a group of Cuban exiles who want a new Bay of Pigs invasion. Complicating things, that group has been infiltrated by Cuban spies. I had a hard time keeping up with Serge, his mind sometimes seeming on a different plane. Had I not known there were more books in the series, I would have been worried that this was Serge’s Last Stand. I buy a Lenny and Serge adventure whenever they go on sale, which works out for the best since I couldn’t take reading them one after the other. This was my fifth or sixth Tim Dorsey book and the only one besides Orange Crush that I've liked yet. The twists at the end deeply impressed me. The humor was above average due to Serge being more of a trickster and less murderous than some books. If you need a starting point for the Serge Storms novels, then you could do worse than this one.
